The problem with uptime is that once you have it at a semi-decent amount it becomes increasingly harder to contemplate taking it down for legitimate reasons.

Trying out Panic’s brand new Diet Coda while it’s still 50% off on launch day (24th May 2012) I instantly came across the following problem when trying to save my files; “Couldn’t get remote handle”.
I quickly realised this was because I had the wrong user permissions on that file, so if you hit the same problem and get that somewhat cryptic error, check your permissions.
I’ve only had a chance for the briefest play, but so far I’m really impressed - it may be too soon to call, but I think this is a really great app. Well done Panic!

Two really, but they’re related.
If Spotify is playing on one machine (say your laptop), you should be able to open Spotify on your iPhone and remote control it.
If I’ve got that laptop playing music, I should be able to open it up on my phone and play the exact same thing through my bedroom speakers too (at the same time). Limits to stop this being abused by cheapskates trying to share one Spotify account you can;

Have you got a Netgear DGN3500 that constantly drops or hangs the WiFi? I have.
PROTIP: Switch the WiFi “mode” to “Up to 130 Mbps” and it’ll stop dropping and hanging.
