Trying out Panic’s brand new Diet Coda while it’s still 50% off on launch day (24th May 2012) I instantly came across the following problem when trying to save my files; “Couldn’t get remote handle”. Two really, but they’re related. Remote Control If Spotify is playing on one machine (say your laptop), you should be able to open Spotify on your iPhone and remote control it. Room Sharing If I’ve got that laptop playing music, I should be able to open it up on my phone and play the exact same thing through my bedroom speakers too (at the same time). When using my Mac over Synergy in the office, the play/pause controls don’t work. Now I can just bring up Alfred and type “spot play” or “spot pause”. Awesome. One of the many reasons I love Alfred.
